Are you looking for ways to boost classroom engagement and excitement?
Over 20 million questions have been answered by students on the ChatterHigh platform, helping them make informed career decisions. This year, we are introducing new and exciting competitions to help students explore vast career possibilities and informative resources for life after high school. Competitions are a great way to increase student engagement in the classroom and improve students’ interest in a specific topic. We are thrilled to collaborate with partners around the country to bring a handful of national and regional competitions to schools and students!
We are excited that we’re working with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to offer Canadian students and teachers a competition based on six gamified courses designed to boost tax literacy and confidence.
The winter competition will run from February 15th to March 15th! Students will explore the CRA’s “Learn about your taxes” online learning tool using ChatterHigh’s unique ‘seek-and-find’ approach while competing for a piece of the $5,000 prize pot for their school!

This competition is based on the Insurance Literacy and Me course from the Insurance Institute, Career Connections, the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction. Schools will have a chance to earn a piece of the $5,000 prize pot while helping to educate students about types of insurance, climate change, risk, responsibility, and reality. This competition is designed to help students discover how insurance is a part of everything we do!
Help students learn how to prepare and protect themselves as they start driving a car, set up their own apartment or home, and embark on the journey of life after high school!
We are delighted to invite you and your students to participate in the Money Management Competition coming to ChatterHigh this month!
This competition is an opportunity for Canadian middle and high school students to become more confident about money management and budgeting while having fun competing for their school.
This competition will be based on the bilingual Money Management and Budgeting Module by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) and is a great way to encourage school pride while preparing students for the future. This module will be available throughout the rest of the 2023 school year to ensure as many students as possible can benefit from this valuable resource.

Increase engagement and boost financial literacy among your students!
Canadian middle and high school students can discover post-secondary pathways and career possibilities through the 10-question Daily Quiz and compete for school-wide prizes and student bursaries! Through resource exploration, students will learn all about post-secondary opportunities in STEM and trades. In case you forgot: we've upped the student bursary prize pot to $22,500 and there is a $10,000 cash prize pot for schools! The top 3 schools in each category receive one of these ⬇️ awesome banners to celebrate their success.
Students can explore region-specific career and post-secondary resources through the following competitions;
Yukon's Most Informed School and Student Competition, available to students in Yukon.
Medicine Hat College Competition for students in select districts in Alberta, including Grasslands Public Schools, Christ the Redeemer SD, Medicine Hat SD, Medicine Hat Catholic SD, and Prairie Rose SD.
CCNB ChatterHigh Competition, available to students of Francophone and French immersion schools in NB, PEI, and NS.
COIN Competition, available to students in BC.
New Brunswick Climate Action Competition for students in NB.
Bishop’s ChatterHigh Competition for students in Quebec.
Students in the Yukon will explore career and post-secondary resources through the 10-question daily quiz activity. During the competition dates, the points students, parents and teachers earn from quizzing all contribute to the school ranking. Students' correct answers will also unlock bursaries on the student leaderboard. There is a total of $2,225 in cash prizes to be won by students and schools.

In this competition, students in BC will use the ChatterHigh platform to complete the COIN exam. The CPABC COIN Competition is a multiple-choice question exam focusing on introductory accounting concepts offered each year in BC. COIN provides students with an opportunity to compete provincially with other students who share an interest in business and accounting. The Top 25 highest-scoring students will be presented with cash prizes. The first-
place honour roll winner will receive $1,500 for themselves and $500 for their school. The school with the most students completing the quiz will also receive an additional $500.
This competition is an opportunity for middle and high school students in New Brunswick to become more informed about Climate Action. This competition will be based on the New Brunswick Climate Action Course by the New Brunswick Department of Education, and Early Childhood Development. Students will receive completion certificates and top schools will receive a piece of the $2,500 prize pot.
