We are excited to be working with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to offer Canadian students and teachers a competition based on six gamified courses designed to boost tax literacy and confidence.
The spring competition will run from February 14th to March 13th! Students will explore the CRA’s “Learn about your taxes” online learning tool using ChatterHigh’s unique ‘seek-and-find’ approach while competing for a piece of the $5,000 prize pot for their school!
This competition is based on the Insurance Literacy and Me course from the Insurance Institute, Career Connections, the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction. Schools can compete for a share of the $5,000 prize pot. The competition educates students about various types of insurance, climate change, risk management, responsibility, and the practical applications of insurance in our daily lives.
Canadian middle and high school students can participate in the Daily Quiz and compete for school-wide prizes and student bursaries, discovering post-secondary pathways and career possibilities in STEM and trades. There is a total of $32,500 in cash prizes to be won by students and schools.
Bonus: If your students are participating in regional daily quiz career exploration competitions during the same date as the national Let’s Talk Careers competition, they’re automatically competing in both!

Students will engage with career and post-secondary resources through a 10-question daily quiz. Throughout the competition, points accumulated by students, parents, teachers, and the entire school community will determine the school's ranking. The top 8 schools across three leaderboards will share a piece of the $1,500 prize pot.
This competition offers middle and high school students in New Brunswick the chance to become more informed about climate action. It will be based on the New Brunswick Climate Action Education modules by the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Students will also earn a certificate upon completing the modules with at least 60% correct and top schools will receive a piece of the $2,500 prize pot.
Students will explore career and post-secondary resources through a daily quiz, contributing to their school's ranking and working towards an opportunity to win a share of the $2,500 prize pot.
